Hi, I'm Giulia, and my story is intrinsically linked to that of Momo and Edelweiss, my beloved Bernese Mountain Dogs.
My passion for animals has deep roots, grown under the influence of my father, and since I was little I wanted a dog. When finally, at 14, my parents gave in and brought Momo home, it was a day that marked the beginning of an unbreakable bond.
Momo, at ten years old, is much more than just a pet; he is my shadow, my accomplice and my support. Every moment spent together is magical: I remember the Christmas mornings when he would enthusiastically throw himself into unwrapping presents, unaware of the contents, but happy to be able to immerse himself in the colored paper. Every time his bright little eyes light up with joy, I feel my heart fill with gratitude for having such a special companion.
Momo has always been there for me in the most difficult moments; he has been my silent confidant, a safe haven where I could find comfort and serenity, and his sweet gaze has constantly brought a smile to my face. Our connection goes beyond words; it is an unconditional love that has made me understand how deep the bond between a human and his dog is. Without Momo, my life would not be the same: he is my first thought in the morning and my last at night.

On our journey, we decided to open our hearts to a new friend: Edelweiss, a three-year-old puppy who came to us in a time of uncertainty during COVID. Her name, inspired by the edelweiss, represents a sign of love and hope that we wanted to carry with us, honoring the memory of my grandmother. Edel is the living expression of joy: with her lively and affectionate character, she fills our home with light. Her energy and playful spirit make every day an adventure. She is a little fury of love who loves to be cuddled and knows how to bring smiles to those around her.
With Edel, I have learned about other facets of animal love. While Momo is reserved and selective, Edel is open and sociable, wagging her tail enthusiastically at anyone who approaches. Their interaction is a wonderful contrast: together, they create a perfect balance, and my life has become full of unforgettable moments, where every day offers the possibility of creating more special memories.
